Bio:
Attorney Richard Bershtein was born and raised in Hamden, Connecticut. After attending Hopkins and earning his Bachelor’s degree cum laude at Yale University, Richard attended Columbia University Law School.
Richard then practiced corporate law for a Wall Street law firm for 5 years before returning to the family business in 1988. Richard has been the managing partner and driving force in growing the Bershtein Law Center for the past 38 years.
Although Richard is well-versed in matters as diverse as real estate, probate, domestic, corporate, and criminal defense law, he spends the majority of his time representing clients in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, falldowns, medical malpractice, products liability, and workers compensation.
Richard loves spending time with his wife and 5 children, attending their various activities. He has completed over 30 marathons and enjoys running, lifting weights, swimming, paddleboarding and yoga. He has been a board member of many non-profit institutions, including Foote School, Neighborhood Music School, Yale Baseball Association, and Madison Little League.
