Bio:

Attorney Joy Bershtein was born and raised in Hamden, Connecticut, and has been involved in the local community her whole life. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from Clark University, Joy attended Boston University Law School in Boston, MA.

Joy has been a vocal advocate for Connecticut residents for 46+ years and still enjoys taking on insurance companies to obtain maximum compensation for her clients. She is a well-versed negotiator and has been a key member of the Bershtein Law Center since she joined the family practice in 1981. 

In her free time, Joy enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, staying fit, trying new restaurants, and living life to the fullest. Her philosophy is to work hard and play hard and that’s her goal every day.
