Bio:

Attorney Jan Bershtein was born and raised in Hamden, Connecticut, and takes pride in her New Haven County roots. After earning her Bachelor’s degree University of Massachusetts - Amherst, Jan attended Cardozo Law School in New York City.

Jan has been vigorously defending personal injury victims for 38+ years and knows every trick the insurance companies will try to use to minimize the value of your claim. She is relentless in her pursuit of justice for her clients and will do everything in her power to ensure you are not being taken advantage of by the big insurance companies. Jan takes immense pride in working at the family business and is a key factor in maintaining the family-like approach that separates the Bershtein Law Center from other firms. Her compassion and empathy for her clients, combined with her fierce tenacity, guarantees a personal touch and exceptional results.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, her real estate ventures, and spending time with her family and 3 dogs. She enjoys outdoor activities in general, including outdoor walks and jogs.
